If you're considering body grooming, you probably both care about
how you look and appreciate the sensuous qualities of your skin.
If you really want to pamper yourself - and look and feel great
- we recommend the following:
- One to two days before your first sugaring treatment, come in
for any body treatment. We get rid of any flaky, sun damaged or
dehydrated skin. We also soothe and care for sensitive skin and
areas where you might have eczema or psoriasis. And the way we
do it will make you glow:
- You get rubbed - and exfoliated - all over with a mixture
of Neem and Pumpkin enzymes, and Chamomile and Jojoba Oil.
The Neem heels the skin and the pumpkin enzymes eat the dry
debris, while oatmeal soothes, purifies, and calms the skin.
- Your entire body is encased in a Bamboo and Oatmeal wrap,
which purifies, calms and nourishes your skin. After the wrap
has absorbed, you rinse it off in a warm shower.
- You get back on the massage table and are anointed with
Supersensative Body Oil from Aromatherapy Associates.
- Your skin is now really ready for the sugaring treatment.
- You have your first sugaring/body grooming treatment as described
on www.mensbodygrooming.com.
- Take care of your skin. We offer a number of top-quality products
not readily available elsewhere (or on TV) to help you do this:
- Supracore Honey Comb Loofah - to help you exfoliate on a
daily basis (be gentle). Made from the surgical plastic as
heart valves, will not grow bacteria.
- Prince Reigns, an aloe-based gel product - to help keep
dead skin cells from accumulating and to train body hair to
grow out straight (so it comes off easier next time).
- Aromatherapy Associates, Balance Skin Conditioning Gel -
to guard against ingrown hair and sensitivity. Antiseptic
with Tea Tree and Lavendar, an Aloe based gel.
- Epidermal Repair, Skinceuticals- made for those that undergo
laser and all hair removal. Address sensitivity and heel the
skin 50% faster, does not allow bacteria to grow. Seals the
pores ASAP.
- Come back for a second treatment in about 3 - 4 weeks (about
the same interval you have between regular haircuts; but don't
wait longer, or we have to start all over again). Most men find
the results are permanent in about 4 months (6 sugaring treatments).
Sound like a lot of work? Well, looking good takes some time and
effort. At least you're not doing most of the work. Seem expensive?
As the old hair color commercial used to say, you're worth it!
Commit to looking good today (and tomorrow, and the day after that,
and the day after that
)!
